Local resident, Malcolm Fleming, is your SNP Candidate forthe General Election.

Malcolm, 35, lives in Tantallon Road in Shawlands and works in Glasgow city centre for a major international aid agency, where he leads campaigns on tackling poverty and climate change, and helps raise funds for responding to humanitarian emergencies.

Malcolm is fighting the Glasgow South seat to win, building on the local success of the SNP’s Deputy Leader Nicola Sturgeon. Since being selected he has met with thousands of local residents in every community across the seat.

Glasgow South a two-horse race after SNP Euro win

Votes cast in 2007 In 2007 the SNP came less than 1,800 votes behind Labour in the Glasgow South area, with the other parties far behind. In last June’s Euro-elections the SNP beat Labour in Glasgow South.
